At Caleb we strive to teach the children with the most up to date learning methods. That is why we hold regular teacher's trainings that educate the teachers on educational tools used in the United States. We believe that in order to get a quality education, the children must be given a healthy learning environment. In order to do this, we supply the children food, which is often their only meal of the day. We also strive to keep their spirits high with visits and gifts from teams and organizations. Haitian children have a passion for learning and are open minds ready to take in whatever is taught to them. Poverty prevents many children from attending our school, as food often takes precedent over the socks, shoes, paper, and books the parents must buy for school; other factors such as family debt and responsibility prevent other children from coming. That is why we need your help to make sure the children stay fed, clothed, and healthy to create a new future for Haiti and the entire world. The following video will give you a small glimpse at the daily life of a child at Caleb Christian Academy.
